Muna wa Wanjiru asked:

Over and above the ability to play the game, World of Warcraft gamers also have the ability to make World of Warcraft movies. These movies while maybe not making the shortlist at the Oscars have entertained many a person over the years that Warcraft has been in existence.

World of Warcraft movies can be made by anyone with even a little bit of background into movie making. And if you don’t have that, you can still learn to make good World of Warcraft movies. There are many software applications which have been catered especially to making movies on the computer and these are available to both PC and Mac users.

For interested people there are also tutorials available on the internet on how to go about making your own World of Warcraft movies. And if you can find the time and tear yourself away from your gaming pursuits you might find that you can create a whole slew of World of Warcraft movies to entertain.

The other advantage that you get with this ability to make World of Warcraft movies, is the capability for you to unleash your creative skills. It can’t be denied that most people who play World of Warcraft do so for the fact that they are captivated and enthralled by the fantasy land and races which inhabit the game.

This means that most if not all of us will have their own ideas about how some of the scenes and quests should really play out as well. With the opportunity to create your very own World of Warcraft movies at your fingertips and to distribute it over the internet for people to watch, means that you can see all your dreams and ideas realized.

On another front altogether, when people talk about World of Warcraft movies, many have clued in to the fact that Blizzard Entertainment (the creators of the Warcraft saga), and Legendary Pictures have teamed up together to produce and release the first of World of Warcraft movies to the general public.

Not too much information has been released as of yet, but it is known that it will be a live action movie. This has of course stirred interest since World of Warcraft is an animated game. The characters in the game might take on real life status from the people who created them, but they are still animated.

Of course there are also some very interesting animated World of Warcraft movies out there produced by the gamers themselves which might make up for a lack that the live action might bring to die-hard World of Warcraft fans. And you can be certain that where the movie might lag behind, the multitude of movie making World if Warcraft gamers will make up for it in abundance.

Muna wa Wanjiru asked:

If you’re looking for all the latest news, tips and strategies about Warcraft, then there’s no better place for you to look in than the World of Warcraft Allakhazam website.

Originally begun as a site to cover the game Everquest, the now mainly World of Warcraft Allakhazam site covers all of the larger MMORPG’s (in plain speak lingo that stands for Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games).

This means that not only will you get information on World of Warcraft Allakhazam will also be able to give you information on other such MMORPG’s. That is of course if you can tear yourself away from World of Warcraft to play something else entirely, which many World of Warcraft players would say is tantamount to sacrilege.

Having said that you can be one of the millions on the World of Warcraft Allakhazam site to have their say and post their comment about anything and everything that is Warcraft related.

And the best thing about the World of Warcraft Allakhazam site? It’s free, totally and absolutely free. Unless of course you want to signup for the World of Warcraft Allakhazam premium membership, in which case you will need to fork out a very small sum (under four dollars per month) to get access to all sorts of services not offered by the normal member login.

These include such things as being able to get your World of Warcraft Allakhazam journal, being able to have your avatar to say you’re you, along with the fact that you also get access to more refined search options than you otherwise would. You also get the bonus of having the advertisements turned off with a premium account.

If you’re wondering whether you will have access to the World of Warcraft Allakhazam search database if you’re not a premium member, then wonder no more. You will definitely have the same access to the same database, the same as all the premium members.

The only thing you won’t have is the refined search. To post a comment on one of the many forums you will either need to have a free member log-in, or a premium member log-in. Just anyone can’t walk in from off the streets and start posting comments on the World of Warcraft Allakhazam forums.

And if you’re completely new to whole World of Warcraft Allakhazam will be able to give you all the help that you need in the form of its massive online community. And this is not something to be scoffed at or taken lightly. You will also find that if you use the World of Warcraft Allakhazam community wisely that you will be better equipped to play your game.

Fight Strategy for Swamplord Musel’ek and Back Stalker in the Underbog in World of Warcraft

Aaron Patterson asked:

The Underbog is the second instances in Coilfang Reservoir. This instance has four bosses, in all. Here is the strategy to beat the third and fourth bosses, Swamplord Musel’ek and Back Stalker.

Swamplord Musel’ek and his pet Claw

The third boss in The Underbog is Swamplord Musel’ek and his pet Claw.

Swamplord Musel’ek has four abilities that will have to be delt with by the raid. They are basic hunter abilities:

· His first ability is Aimed Shot, which hits for 200 damage if no one is in range of his melee.

· His Shoot ability inflicts damage on the target.

· His Multi-shot is just like a regular hunter’s Multi-shot except it hits everyone in the party instead of just one target.

· His Claws ability is a echoing roar that will reduce the party’s armor by 75%. He has to be tanked away from the group to avoid this.

· His Feral Charge is done on random players that Musel’ek targets.

The fight will be tanked with the main tank on Musel’ek and the off tank on Claw. Have claw tanked as far from the group as possible. Once Musel’ek is dead, burn Claw to 20%. He will change into a druid and end the fight.

Back Stalker

The last boss in The Underbog is the Back Stalker. This boss is a basic tank and DPS fight.

Have the tank aggro and hold him facing away from the raid. This protects the raid from Back Stalker’s Chain Lightning.

Periodically, a raid member will get sent into the air with Levitate. The victim will need to be identified and healed.

Other than that, keep DPS going until the boss is dead. To learn more about World of Warcraft try reading the Team Idemise Guide.

How to Defeat Nightbane in World of Warcraft

Sunday, November 2nd, 2008
warcraft
Aaron Patterson asked:

Nightbane is a summoned boss that is similar to the fight of Onyxia from the pre-Burning Crusade raid dungeons. In order to summon Nightbane, one person must have completed the quest line of Medivas Journal. Here is how to defeat Nightbane once he is summoned.

This fight is a two-phase fight consisting of a ground phase and flight phase.

Positions

During the ground phase, the tank needs to tank him somewhere along the battlements in a curve so that the width form wall to edge is smallest. The tank should turn him so that the tail is inside the wall as much as possible.

Ranged players should stay on one side at their maximum range close to the edge. Melee should stand near Nightbane’s tail.

A symbol should be placed over one player’s head. (See reason, below.)

The Fight

If the fight is tanked correctly, the majority of things that Nightbane does should only effect the tank.

His ground abilities are:

· Bellowing Rage- This is a fear that can be resisted by Fear Ward, Will of the Forsaken, Berserker Rage, Recklessness or any trinkets such as Insignia of the Horde.

· Cleave- This is a frontal swipe that hits for 6k on plate.

· Target Charred Earth- This creates a charred earth area that does 20k+ damage over 30 seconds. You must move out of this unless you’rr the tank. Melee players must run through Nightbane to the other side and ranged players must move out of the area.

· Distracting Ash- This reduces your chance to hit with your abilities or spells by 30%. This can be dispelled.

· Smoldering Breath- This inflicts fire damage in front of the caster in a cone, doing 3700-4300 damage and 1688-1933 additional damage every 3 seconds.

· Tail Sweep- This does 450 damage and 2250 additional damage over time. It can be avoided as long as his till is buried in the wall.

Every time his health goes down 25% (75%,50%,25% hp), Nightbane goes into his flight phase. When this happens, everyone needs to run to the symbol placed over a raid members head. Doing this ensures that no one in the raid gets hit with Fireball Barrage. If any player is away from the group they will get hit with 2550-3550 damage per second.

While in flight phase, Nightbane will take a deep breath and cast Rain of Bones, which spams tons for skeletons with 18000 hp. These are non-elites and can be dealt with fast using AoE, or Area of Effect, spells.

One person will get targeted with Smoking Blast during the flight stage, as well. This is a Damage Over Time, or DOT, that does 2k damage and fire damage over time. It can be dispelled, and should be quickly, because it can stack up to 4 times.

While in his flight phase, Nightbane can be hurt by ranged attacks. 10 seconds before he lands, everyone in the raid should to get back to their places for the ground phase. No one should cast any spell until the hunter uses Distracting Shot or until the tank gets aggro, pulling Nightbane into place.

These steps should be repeated until Nightbane is dead. If you would like to learn more about World of Warcraft strategy, you may want to read the Team Idemise Guide.
